Where to find us
From the M25: leave at junction 9. Take the A243 north to Chessington (London). Not long after passing Chessington World of Adventures on your left, take a right turn on to Garrison Lane. After 30m turn left in to the Chessington Sport Centre/Chessington Community College car park (before Chessington South railway station).
Public transport: Chessington South train station is right next door, 2 minute walk.
The sports hall and social club is set back behind the college building on the right. Park up and walk around to the right, following the path past the main reception.
Who can play:
Please note the club is open to all but we are not geared up to take juniors. This is not an exclusion but we only have so much court space and time plus volunteers running the club. If you ask to send in your 13-14 year old child we will likely politely decline as we are primarily adult orientated and don't want to discourage juniors from enjoying the sport at a safe level relative to their age and physical ability.
As a club we are only 15 minutes or so away from Ashcombe Volleyball club (one of the UKs primary youth clubs) that are very much more suited to training and developing juniors with several teams and we feel this is a much better route to building long term skills and enjoyment within the sport. Obviously the age at which you are no longer a junior is somewhat dependent on physical statue.
We do want everyone to play volleyball because it is a fantastic life long friendly team sport so we are always open to contacts and happy to refer and give introductions and help you find the best place to start.
